Reduce water use with a rain barrel, and support the Friends of Deckers Creek Association (FDOC)

FODC is a nonprofit watershed group dedicated to promoting, preserving, enhancing, and restoring the natural qualities of rain_barrel the Deckers Creek watershed for the residents and visitors of Monongalia and Preston Counties, West Virginia. They are committed to cleaning up the creek degraded by multi-source pollution sources such as acid mine drainage, heavy metals, litter, and bacteria, with a goal of “Fish by 2010, swim by 2015”. The FODC Youth Advisory Board is a group of local youth ages 12-18 helping FODC fulfill its mission through youth-led service projects and research.

The rain barrels are being sold for $75, which is considerably less than the cost of a rain barrel at retail stores or found online. All proceeds will benefit FODC and the FODC Youth Advisory Board.
